XII - XIII : Landscapes

The first of these landscapes show a populated scene, one of the first in the series that have more characters that in some way interact with the environment.

The second is a tree with a spinal serpent coiling around, could be the tree of knowledge from Genesis, or just a tree, you make the decisions on this.

This is a view over a blooming infernal landscape, hell have had millenias to grow through the human consciousness and it's fertile with the fears that we have felt in the deepest corner of our souls.

Searching for Demons VIII & IX

Hello me sweeties! Today's a double feature after a couple of days of absence, my path got blocked for a little time, but now I'm on the right rail again.

The first of the two is a general feelout image in landscape format, and the second is born from the first one, this is how I find my demons and here they are:

Searching for Demons VII - Lilith I

In the womb of hell, Lilith dwells, giving birth to fresh demon spawns on a industrial level.

Searching for Demons III - VI

This is a journal mostly about art, but also a journey through ones unconscious mind, the search for our inner demons that I will try to find through a sketching process that I use to make the whole creation more automatic, making my pencil fall on the paper without controlling it or trying to do something figurative.
As the drawing gets done I find shapes and creatures in it that I feel should be there and enhance them in the final step.
Some might be based on a initial concept, but the main texture is still done with the automatic sketch technique.

As this is a new blog, I have a couple of the pieces already finished, I will try to post one sketch a day, but sometimes life gets in the way as it does for us all, but I will try to do my best in keeping this journal daily.
